The start of the 10th Tea table Project

This is the 10th Tea Table Project which have been started some time back,
it's a tray type table and sort of a masterpiece
because of its large size and wooden tree trunk stools are also included.
The wood is classified as mixed wood
and there isn't a buyer yet for this project.

Hunt for tree stump (part 3)

Our search continues for materials for the next few projects,
this time further up from the earlier place
which is a dumping ground for stumps
from a cleared area embarked for housing development.

The cleared area is ready for construction works, the building continues...

Removing earth from the stump before the chainsaw could be used.

This piece looks good for a tea tray.

Hunt for tree stump (part 2)

Our hunt for a tree stump for materials for the next 3 projects
took us somewhere off the Kuantan Sungai Lembing road
under some transmission towers where 2 rotting stump were found.
3 projects is because my brother got orders for another 3 flat type table
from his tea drinking friends from KL who came here for a holiday
and ended up liking the table.

This one is too rotten to be of any use.

Some wood can still be salvage from the butress root of this merbau stump.

A very nice mushroom trying to outgrow it's neighbours.
